Las Vegas is filled with ghosts and spirits (not the kind you drink). Paranormal specialist William Draven, who is also a trained magician and illusionist, is ready to take the audience on a paranormal simulation in Myth: Legends of the Artisan at the Artisan Las Vegas.

The popularity of networks, movies, and television programs devoted to crime speaks about the desire to become a detective in many people. In downtown Las Vegas, audience members put those skills to the test during the award-winning comedy dinner show Marriage Can Be Murder. The production is celebrating 20 years on stage culminating with KILL-ebration at the D Las Vegas on June 20.

Harry Potter started in the imagination of J.K. Rowling and has become a reality with seven books, seven movies, traveling exhibition, London studio tour and themed attractions at several Universal Parks & Resorts amusement parks. Now Potted Potter-The Unauthorized Harry Experience has debuted in the Windows Showroom at Bally's Las Vegas, starring the original creators through June 23 with its new cast starting on June 24.

The uniquely American musical genre of jazz will be celebrated during Uli Geissendoerfer Presents The Jazz Club. The Jazz Club, performing for its 8th year, will present a three-part series showcasing jazz in all of its rawness and sophistication at Myron's Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center on June 2.

Travis Cloer, who starred as Frankie Valli in the Tony and Grammy award-winning musical Jersey Boys returns to the stage in Las Vegas. Cloer will share his favorite Broadway tunes and melodies at The Space LV on May 10.

Joseph Merrick, known for the extreme deformity of his body and face, lived in the Victorian era and would not be known except his story is dramatized as The Elephant Man. A Public Fit Theatre Company is presenting the Tony-award winning production by Bernard Pomerance starring Kurt Hellerigh as Merrick at The Usual Place May 3-26.

April is Jazz Appreciation Month, and Ella Fitzgerald embodied this genre. International vocalist Michelle Johnson will pay tribute to Ella, known as the First Lady of Song, Queen of Jazz, and Lady Ella when Michelle Johnson Presents A Tribute To Ella Fitzgerald at the Myron's Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center on April 19.

Supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley heard the call of Broadway again when she joins the national tour of the Tony Award-winning hit musical Chicago as Roxie Hart. Her next stop, after Phoenix, is Las Vegas for a limited seven-show engagement at The Venetian Theatre in The Venetian Resort Las Vegas from April 10-14.

Ester Goldberg's Totally Outrageous Brunch with headliner Ester Goldberg delights audiences while filling their souls (and bellies) at the Sayer's Club inside the SLS Las Vegas Saturday and Sunday.

The first House of Blues opened in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Nov. 26, 1992, and seven years later, House of Blues opened three distinct venues in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The music hall, restaurant and bar, and the Foundation Room changed the entertainment scene in Las Vegas combining diverse live shows, delicious food and drink, and an upscale club. The first show featuring Bob Dylan was performed on March 2, 1999, where Dylan brought Bono of U2 on stage.

"One Night For One Drop, Imagined By Cirque Du Soleil," the one-night-only soiree to benefit One Drop, features once-in-a-lifetime performances. This year, audiences around the globe can experience this exclusive event when CBS will premiere "One Night For One Drop, Imagined By Cirque Du Soleil, brought to you by Colgate" on the CBS Television Network on March 16.

Tonya Farrens has been part of the entertainment industry for years, but when she experienced a devastating event, after her grief, she decided to help others using a different voice. The Bringing Happy Back Experience will raise awareness of suicide and prevention by uplifting the mood with its inaugural live and streaming show. The benefit production featuring several Vegas entertainers will be held at the Myron's Cabaret at The Smith Center For The Performing Arts on Jan. 31.

Las Vegas headliner Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller will open up his home for an intimate night of entertainment to benefit Aid for AIDS of Nevada. AFAN's 6th Evening of Cabaret returns with Broadway and television star and Strip entertainer John Davidson performing on Jan. 25.

When this musically talented mom discovered that her children were also gifted and loved to perform, Mama's Wranglers was literally as well as figuratively born with each child. Think the Partridge family or the Jackson 5 (and famous siblings) performing country and western music and preserving American traditions. The holiday season is here, and Mama's Wranglers are celebrating with a Honky Tonk Christmas at the Firelight Barn Dinner Theater Dec. 13-22.

South African guitarist/singer Jonathan Butler, after touring with Dave Koz for a decade, will join Koz as a headliner for the holiday season in the 21st annual Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2018. Other special guests include Mindi Abair, pop/blues saxophonist/singer who will be making her first Christmas Tour appearance; Japanese keyboard sensation Keiko Matsui; and new artist Shelea. The show will be presented in the Red Rock Ballroom at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa on Dec. 14.

The holiday spirit has captured the "The Cocktail Cabaret," the intimate show celebrating the cocktail hour. After performing with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and headlining "Christmas at my House," special guest Travis Cloer will join the regular cast bringing his powerful vocals to Cleopatra's Barge in Caesars Palace Dec. 5-8.
