Whoopi Goldberg, Arlene Dahl, Mario Buatta and more made an appearance at Liliane Montevecchi's performance at Feinstein's at Loews Regency last night, April 9. Best known for her Tony Award-winning role in Tommy Tune's NINE and in GRAND HOTEL, Montevecchi's career spans four decades.

Last night's performance of The Broadway Ballyhoo at Feinstein's (Park & 61st Street) marked the fifth month of this critically acclaimed and popular musical revue series. Betsy Wolfe (Merrily, We Roll Along), Tony DeSare (Nightclub Star), Scott Coulter (The Stephen Schwartz Show) and Mark Aaron James (Guitarist - Singer/Songwriter) starred.

Amra-Faye Wright, who is currently starring as Velma Kelly in the Broadway musical Chicago, returned to Feinstein's at Loews Regency, April 3 and 5, to perform her celebrated cabaret act.

Canadian television personality and concert star Gregory Charles began his special, one-week engagement at The Café Carlyle on April 3, and BroadwayWorld caught him in action. Backed by a band of young musicians from Montreal, Charles 'artfully blends songs from an astonishing spectrum of eras, styles and cultures. Each of the music and era-spanning shows he spontaneously creates is one-of-a-kind.'

Last night, April 3, Nicolas King made his solo debut at The Iridium NYC, under the musical baton of legendary Mike Renzi and the Mike Renzi Trio. The show delivered Broadway ballads, swinging favorites and, of course, selections from the Great American Songbook.

On Monday night, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present the return of "Eleven O'Clock Numbers," a musical revue that ran for eight months at Feinstein's at The Regency. Starring it's original stars Christina Bianco, Carole J. Bufford and Scott Coulter, the show featured show-stopping Broadway songs from the 1930's to the present. The critically acclaimed late-night weekly Broadway songfest continued last night, March 22, with another all-star cast headed by Broadway star Karen Mason (Wonderland, Sunset Blvd.), Drama Desk Nominee Christina Bianco (Newsical, The Musical), Stephen Mo Hanan (Original in Cats, Jolson & Co.), Ludmilla Ilieva (award-winning vocalist), and Blair Goldberg (Carrie).

Now through March 31, Grammy nominee Bettye LaVette will bring her cabaret act to Cafe Carlyle. Performances take place Tues-Sat at 8:45 p.m. Cover Tues-Thurs: $70 per person ($40 bar; $120 premium); Cover Fri-Sat: $80 per person ($50 bar seating; $130 premium seating.

On Saturday, March 17 took to the stage with the 60-piece Wilmington Symphony Orchestra at the Kenan Auditorium in Wilmington, NC. Joining her was her band including Bucky Pizzarelli (guitar), John Brown (bass), Steve Bakunis (drums), and musical director Billy Stritch and singer Jim Caruso.

On March 18, cabaret performer Jamie deRoy hosted an evening of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & Friends at the intimate cabaret hot-spot Metropolitan Room. Joining Jamie on this spring evening were classical violinist Daisy Jopling, comedy's lovable Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli, ten-time MAC Award winner and three-time Bistro Award winner Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia!); Tony Award nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse, Sophisticated Ladies), writer/comedian/political satirist and CBS & Food Channel personality Mo Rocca and award-winning songwriter (The River, Garth Brooks; Nobody Wants To Be Lonely, Ricky Martin & Christina Aguilera) and recording artist, Victoria Shaw. Feinstein's at Loews Regency welcomed back Linda Eder in her new show "Songbirds," which pays tribute to the great ladies of music including Lena Horne, Etta James, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Eva Cassidy and more. Stars of both stage and screen joined the celebration when the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre honored Tony Award-winner Linda Lavin at the Off-Broadway company's annual Gala on Monday, March 12 at the Hudson Theater in Manhattan. Ms. Lavin made her Vineyard Theatre debut earlier this season in the critically acclaimed production of Nicky Silver's play THE LYONS and will again star in THE LYONS when the play moves to Broadway next month starting April 5 at the Cort Theatre.

Broadway star Tom Wopat is enjoying the Florida sunshine this week as he takes to the stage at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. Returning to the Royal Room for the first time since 2007, Tom Wopat first came to public attention in the late-1970s as the freewheeling Luke Duke on the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. In 1977, he made his Broadway debut in Cy Coleman's I Love My Wife. Wopat went on to perform in the Tony Award-winning City of Angels and Guys and Dolls. He received a Tony nomination for creating the role of Frank Butler in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun, opposite Bernadette Peters. In 2008, Wopat returned to Broadway as Tom Hurley in A Catered Affair with Faith Prince and Harvey Fierstein. 2011 saw him again on Broadway starring as Frank Abagnale Sr. in the new adaptation of Catch Me If You Can.
