Marina Youth Theatre presents its summer show, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," with performances at Huntington Beach High School, August 22-25. "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is a fantastical adventure that follows the story of young Charlie Bucket as he wins a golden ticket to the mysterious and magical Wonka Chocolate Factory. Along with four other children, Charlie embarks on a journey through the wonders of Willy Wonka’s world, where they encounter Oompa-Loompas, incredible inventions, and surprises at every turn. But not all is as sweet as it seems, and the children soon learn important lessons about greed, kindness, and imagination.
