Selections are interpolated into Purcell’s only real opera, Dido and Aeneas, which displays distinctly Shakespearean influences. A contemporary setting in an insane asylum sheds new light on the protagonists stormy relationship.Director: Matt Haney, Conductor: Carlos Espinosa
