Long Day's Journey Into Night at Interact Theatre Company

Eugene O'Neill's masterwork "Long Day's Journey into Night" is widely considered to be one the greatest American plays. A semi-autobiographical account of O'Neill's own family and the tensions between them, the play is set over the course of a single day at the Tyrone family's seaside cottage, a picturesque setting that hides a host of family troubles. Each of the four occupants, the spouses James and Mary, and their two grown sons, Jamie and Edmund, are dealing with their own failings and the consequences of everyone else's. "Long Days Journey into Night" received the Tony Award for Best Play in 1957, as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. /// Interact Theatre Company presents THE TONY AWARD® WINNERS, staged readings of six plays that received Broadway's highest honor, the Tony Award® for Best Play, presented free on the second Saturday afternoon of each month, January - June, 2022, at 1:30 p.m PT, for a live audience at the North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Regional Library, and live-streaming on BroadwayOnDemand.com (also free).
