Still Life features Aaron, who is frustrated by a neighbor's boots left in the hallway, and his wife Erica, who attempts to soothe him by discussing the beauty depicted in Van Gogh’s painting The Old Shoes. As their argument unfolds, Erica is determined to avoid escalating the situation with their co-op board, while Joan, the neighbor, unexpectedly intervenes, offering a fresh perspective on the underlying truths of their dispute. The play, mentored by Robert L. Freedman and directed by Jorge-Luis Pallo, stars Shalina Bathina, Joel Johnstone, and Elena Campbell Martinez.
