LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS will present the Southern California regional theatre premiere of WAITRESS, directed by Abbey O'Brien. The musical features a book by Jessie Nelson and music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, based on the film by Adrienne Shelly. The story follows Jenna, played by Desi Oakley, a waitress and talented pie-maker, who seeks a fresh start amidst her tumultuous life in a small town. The production will be on stage from September 21 to October 13, 2024, showcasing a talented cast including Ben Jacoby, Brian Krinsky, and Dominique Kent.
