Main Street Players presents Bad Jews, the third show of their 2017 season. Bad Jews is the ferociously funny play with serious overtones written by Joshua Harmon. Poppy Feygenbaum, a Holocaust survivor and patriarch of the family, has passed away, and his family has gathered in NYC for his funeral.
The tension of his death is escalated when his grandkids are forced to share a studio apartment, and all hell breaks loose as they start to fight over their Poppy's Chai, a very special memento with deep meaning for the family.
The show is directed by MSP Artistic Director Robert Coppel, with Clara Lyzniak as the production manager. The cast is as follows:
Daphna Feygenbaum: Hannah Benitez
Liam Haber: Joseph Paul Pino
Jonah Haber: Matthew Ferro
Melody: Kimmi Johnson
Bad Jews runs July 21st - August 13th, with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. The show runs 90 minutes with no intermission, and contains adult language.
