Claudio Martinez Mehner is not just an artist, but a composer, a thinker, a philosopher, and a mentor to so many young artists.
A lover of old recordings from past century artists and historical instruments - especially the harpsichord - Claudio Martinez Mehner has devoted a great portion of his life to the study of the baroque style from different perspectives, since he is also a violinist, violist and harpsichordist. Claudio is also interested in popular and ethnic music as well as flamenco and jazz. Style and era have very little meaning to him as he only believes in different ways of thinking about re-creating the music.
His program will be a Tribute to Bach and Ligetti two contrasting geniuses, two different styles.
