A Lerner and Loewe musical, MY FAIR LADY is based on the original stage play Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. It depicts misogynistic and arrogant phonetics professor Henry Higgins as he wagers that he can take flower girl Eliza Doolittle and turn her Cockney accent into a proper English one, thereby making her presentable in high society.
MY FAIR LADY runs 22 February 2013 – 06 April 2013 - Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings. Rehearsals will begin 03 January 2013 and will generally be Tueday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings – with added rehearsals two weeks prior to opening.
