Pioneer Theatre Company Announces Children's Auditions for
The Music Man

Children's auditions for PTC's production of The Music Man will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2014; that time will be announced to auditioners who are called back.
The audition time slots are limited to three minutes.
All auditioners will be asked to sing a song from American classic musical theatre. Auditioners should be between 7 and 12 years old or older.
All auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre; that sign-up will be posted at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014.
Auditions will be held in Room 245 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. A photo and resume are recommended. For more information please visit the PTC web site: www.pioneertheatre.org.
Rehearsal dates for the production are Monday, April 6, 2015 - Thursday, April 30, 2015. Performance dates are May 1 - May 16, 2015. Art Manke will direct the production.

CAST BREAKDOWN:
Winthrop Paroo-He is 10 years old and the younger brother of Marion the Librarian. He has a pronounced stutter. Must sing and act.
Amaryliss-Nine to 10 years old. She is a piano student of Marion's and has a crush on Winthrop. Must sing and act.
Gracie Shinn-She is age 10 to 12 years old, and the younger daughter of Mayor Shinn. Should be able to sing, act and move well.
Additional ensemble roles are available.
