About Calpulli Mexican Dance
Calpulli Mexican Dance Company (East Elmhurst) marks its 15th anniversary in 2018 and is delighted to be a partner with the Queensboro Dance Festival. The Queens-based company's mission is to celebrate the rich diversity of Mexican cultural heritage through dance-based programming including live music. To this end, Calpulli produces performances with its professional company, designs arts-in-education experiences, and leads community outreach classes that are donation-based for youth, open to all, and target immigrant communities.
