Three survivors. Two plays. One lifeboat.
When three unlikely personalities find shelter on a lifeboat after a devastating shipwreck, they must do whatever they can, including keep their sanity, to survive. As the lifeboat drifts aimlessly, THIRST & FOG diverge into two exciting plays, one set in the hot, shark-infested waters of the tropics, and the other adrift in a thick, cold fog off of Newfoundland.
Inspired by the sinking of the Titanic, Eugene O’Neill captures the raw passion of the human spirit in wake of disaster and explores society’s response (or lack thereof) to tragedy.
THIRST & FOG features Brian Hotaling*, Hannah Sharafian*, and Ryan Woods*. THIRST & FOG are written by Eugene O’Neill, directed by Zane Auburn Alcorn, original music composed by Daniel Silliman, scenic design by Michael Alcorn, lighting design by Alan Waters, prop design by Rachel Langley, and costume design by Sarah Marie Dixey.
