After her ex-husbands death in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Annette Bubbleburn returns home from a self-imposed exile to find her son Frederick transformed into The Gnarly Narwhal, an uber-nationalistic vigilante dedicated to preserving peace and justice, no matter the cost. An encounter with an overzealous mall cop, a sadistic television host, and a young couple lead us to the inevitable violent conclusion that calls into question American exceptionalism and our obsession with cycles of violence.
