Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 4PM LaGuardia Performing Arts Center 31-10 Thomson Ave Long Island City, NY, 11101 Students from the Joffrey Ballet School’s Children's & Youth Ballet program will present the full two act holiday tradition, “The Nutcracker” at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center. As a work for students, it is an ideal challenge and gives many opportunities to dancers from the "babies" to the young adults as a collaboration with the Ballet Trainee Program. Set to what is regarded as Tchaikovsky's best ballet score, the story tells the courage and love of a small girl, Clara, in breaking the wicked spell held over the Nutcracker Prince. Meet and Greet with the principal dancers of Joffrey Ballet School directly after the performance. After the show, join LPAC in our Little Theater and visit Santa's Toyland! This yearly tradition has become a family-favorite event where children can meet Santa and leave with a special gift from LPAC! No RSVP required, your Nutcracker ticket gets you in!
LaGuardia Performing Arts Center is at 31-10 Thomson Ave, LIC, NY 11101, Long Island City, NY.
