Love can make a woman do strange things:
Such is the state of things in this hilarious, tongue-in-cheek, anachronistic adaptation of the classic Marivaux comedy Triumph Of Love.
TRIUMPH OF LOVE finds a parallel for the
conventions of 18th century French comedy in the witty repartee, sexy
comedy, inspired buffoonery and tender poignancy of this charming
small-cast chamber musical. As well as making it extremely flexible in
its performance space, set and costume demands, with its emphasis on
character and situation rather than production values, TRIUMPH OF LOVE is an excellent showcase for comic actors.
