Experience Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre at the intimate August Wilson Center – the perfect venue to see up-close and personal the passion and athleticism of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's dancers in a dynamic program of mixed repertoire. The theme of our first performance at the newest jewel in the Crown of Cultural District performance venues is Uncommon. Featuring a World Premiere choreographed by Dwight Rhoden to the music of Johann S. Bach, joined by Mark Morris’ Maelstrom and Brahm’s Quintet by Dennis Nahat, audiences will be treated to an experience that will challenge any predetermined ideas regarding the relationship between classical composition and ballet.
