Personal reflections explore the cycle of addiction in a kaleidoscopic view of recovery, from first time use through the spiraling journey of recovery. Finding Our Way was written collaboratively by participants of Playwrights Projects Out of the Yard program at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility. This production is part of Playwrights Projects Mosaic program, which features professional productions of plays drawn from underserved communities and honors the spirit of the former Moolelo Performing Arts Company. Playwrights Project is proud to produce Finding Our Way in September, which is National Recovery Month. Recovery Month spreads the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective and people can and do recover. The 2019 theme is Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger. The performance begins at 7:30pm at Moxie Theatre.
