New Village Arts partners with the Oceanside Theatre Company to co-produce Stephen Sondheims INTO THE WOODS, directed by Kristianne Kurner. Interwoven through fairy tales is the story of a baker and his wife, whose longing for a child is thwarted by a mischievous witch. Sondheims songs, seamlessly melded to James Lapines text, are perfect expressions of the complications of living in modern society and the difficult choices we encounter on the paths of our lives. INTO THE WOODS will transform the Oceanside Theatre Companys stage into a magic land where almost anything can (and does) happen. Visit the website for showtimes and tickets.
