During a night of mischief with his gang of friends, Lanky, the lovable fool and secret ringleader, finds himself married to a streetwalker named Blondie. The marriage is a fake, but Blondie is the real deal, and the spark she lights in Lanky sends him on a series of madcap, manic, and often hilarious misadventures: from a loopy pension office in Washington to a sadistic dog pound and the upper echelons of the political sphere. In this contemporary farce, Dario Fo exposes the lunacy and injustice of political bureaucracy with cutting humor, a revolutionary spirit, and a surprisingly big heart. Archangels Don't Play Pinball pops with lively music, slapstick physical comedy, and the dazzling ensemble work of the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program class of 2012.
