King James, a play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph, runs from October 15 to November 3 at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. The story centers on two superfans, Matt and Shawn, who bond over their love for the Cleveland Cavaliers and star player LeBron James, navigating the challenges of friendship over a span of 12 years. Directed by Giovanna Sardelli, the production features Kenny Scott as Shawn and Jordan Lane Shappell as Matt, bringing to life this exploration of love and sports. With a creative team that includes scenic design by Christopher Fitzer and sound design by Gregory Robinson, the show promises an engaging theatrical experience.
