David Marino will make his West Coast cabaret debut as part of the Live at the Orinda Concert Series at the historic Orinda Theatre. David Marino is a multilingual jazz crooner from Montreal, best known for his appearance on Canada’s hit TV show The Voice, where he sailed all the way to the finals under the mentorship of French singer/songwriter star Pierre Lapointe, who was so moved by David’s talent that he wrote the song, “Amour ou Songe” (Love or Dream), especially for David. Inspired by legends such as Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Charles Aznavour, among others, David began singing and performing at only 6 years of age. As a proud advocate for mental health causes, he has organized multiple big band concerts, raising over $50,000 for mental health services at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. In July of 2023, David Marino made his U.S. concert debut in New York City – with his special guests Nicolas King and Seth Sikes – receiving rave reviews and generating buzz within the music industry. Currently working on his debut album, David returns to the States in March 2024, with shows at Birdland Jazz Club in NYC, the Orinda Theatre near San Francisco, and then Oscar's in Palm Springs. "Move over Michael Bublé, there's a new Canadian heartthrob...and that is one David Marino. David Marino is not to be missed!" - Theatre Pizzazz "David is a crazy natural, with an incredible talent. Ava made her solo concert debut Live At the Orinda in May of 2023 with a sold-out show, multiple standing ovations and rave reviews. Look for Ava as she auditions for American Idol, premiering on ABC in February 2024. You don't want to miss these two young artists as they begin their ascent to stardom! “Nothing less than breathtaking... Ava Nicole Frances is clearly the future of the business” - Broadway World
