The Black Feminist Guide to the Human Body, directed by Margo Hall, is a new work celebrating the lives and resilience of Black women. Written by Lisa B. Thompson, the play follows an older Black woman professor as she navigates through time and memory, exploring the uniqueness of Black womanhood. With a focus on self-love and community, this production offers a joyous reflection on aging and the challenges faced by Black women. The play features performances by Jacinta Kaumbulu, Paige Mayes, and Phaedra Tillery-Boughton, and runs from September 19 to October 6 at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre.
