New Conservatory Theatre Center presents the West Coast premiere of Audrey Cefaly's The Gulf - An Elegy, a poignant drama that explores the complexities of love between two women, Betty, played by Laura Domingo, and Kendra, portrayed by Amy Meyers. Set on a fishing boat in the Alabama Delta, the one-act play delves into their struggle to confront their unspoken feelings and the simmering resentments that threaten to pull them apart. Directed by Tracy Ward, this Lammy Award-winning work invites audiences to engage deeply with the turbulent dynamics of their relationship as they navigate both change and comfort. The show runs from October 18 to November 24, 2024.
