IAMA Theatre Company opens its 2024/25 season with the world premiere of a new play by John Lavelle, directed by Melissa Coleman-Reed. The Very Best People explores the aftermath of a disgraced NYPD detective's mysterious shooting, as his childhood friends hatch a plan in an Irish pub to confront the Deep State against the backdrop of America’s divisive climate. The cast includes IAMA ensemble members Adrián González, Andria Kozica, Bryan Langlitz, alongside Joseph Russo and Margaux Susi.
