God of My Own World, written by 2018 Bethel graduate Wesley Lantz, follows the story of Adam Heiland a curator of the Ann Arbor Public Library. His intern, Georgia, one day brings up an old, unfinished manuscript that has Adam's name on it. Its title is "Fog of War." Adam takes it home and as he reads through it, the characters from the play come to life in his head. As the story progresses, a couple of the characters begin to argue about whether Adam should finish the script or not, Adam becomes obsessed and it begins to take over his life. Adam's old fianc, Ginny, comes back into his life conveniently at the same time the manuscript shows up. Everything from Adam's past now start to come into his present. Which characters will win control? His reality or the characters in his head?
