When a young girl discovers what appears to be an old man collapsed at the back of her garden, she notices something strange: wings. Difficult decisions must be made. Should she help the creature? Should she tell her friends and family?
Based on David Almond’s Skellig and Gabriel Garci?a Ma?rquez’s A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings, Barricade Arts uses an array of visual techniques to explore the ways in which difference can be celebrated and feared.
Wings is a new devised piece for children aged 6-12, their families, and everyone else!
