1864 It is Christmastime in Washington, DC. President Lincoln is trying to heal the wounds of a nation. Soldiers on both sides are bravely holding on to the promise of a brighter future for their country. And people of every walk of life long for wholeness and celebration as Christmas Eve draws near. This epic musical incorporates folk songs, spirituals, and traditional Christmas carols such as “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen,” “Silent Night,” and “O Tannenbaum.”
Filled with intrigue and surprise, this Christmas musical reveals a world that is simultaneously torn apart by war and held together by the hope for redemption.
