Review: NAPOLI at Wroclaw OperaDecember 24, 2024Napoli 1841 is a great piece bringing a spirit of Italy, sun, and holidays. There is sea, great choreographies, freshness, and a flow that makes you feel young and full of life. Is a festive and energetic classical version of Bournonville's ballet, one of the most outstanding works of this remarkable choreographer. This ballet is recreated and updated for the Wroclaw Opera Ballet by Danish dancer and choreographer Johan Kobborg.

Review: PEER GYNT at Polish National OperaNovember 5, 2024In this enchanting tale, a grown man finds himself in one predicament after another, navigating dangers involving axes, perilous journeys, and furious trolls. This is a world teeming with wonder and magic—a Scandinavian realm where folklore and fantasy intertwine.

If I had to point out any weak spots, well, this review would end right here because, honestly, there aren’t any. Review: CHICAGO at Krakowski Teatr VARIETEOctober 28, 2024I have nothing to hide: I'm obsessed with Broadway’s Chicago. Everything: the music, choreographies by Bob Fosse, costumes, and the general vibe. Everything screams: greatness.
Review: ROMEO AND JULIET at Capitol Musical Theatre, WroclawOctober 2, 2024I would be brief for this text as I’m still processing this show. It was a mixture of contradictions that was made to impress. It was a mixture of contradictions that aimed to impress. I was impressed and in a way obsessed by certain points.
Review: TAP DANCE IN MODERN EUROPESeptember 8, 2024It’s either an activity associated with an image of an old granny, an old school activity like in France, connected with Irish routs like in the UK or Ireland. There is also a third possibility, a young, vibrant, bringing together people from different backgrounds with a fresh but great respect for tradition.
Review: ECCENTRICS at The Kujawsko-Pomorski Music Theatre, TorunJuly 18, 2024It all starts with an old-fashioned welcome drink. I mean real old school, from 70 years ago. Vodka, lard spread on bread, and fermented cucumber in a vintage bar with all the newspapers and old songs performed. You're starting to get in the mood!
Review: The Elements 2 Evening Of ChoreographyJuly 8, 2024I love watching dance in all possible forms and I think we don't get enough of it in Polish scenes, so when the opportunity to see dance in pure form presented itself, I couldn't resist and I never have enough!
Review: IT'S A BIRTHDAY! at Capitol Musical Theatre, WroclawJuly 8, 2024As summer has already hit us with heat and steam, we all think about the holidays as the school year ends. There are some goodbyes, some tears, and waving bye-bye. There are also some summaries, and I was honored to witness the 15th birthday of a musical school designed with passion, kindness, and what we love the most: THE MUSICALS!
Review: ORPHEUS IN HELL at The Castle Opera In SzczecinJuly 8, 2024A comic opera with music by Jacques Offenbach, directed by J.J. Polonski, the master of the Polish magical music scene (look at The Beaty and The Beast or Pippin!), which brings the opera feerie into a modern version. Laughter, wild metaphors, fabulous costumes, and a sprinkle of fairy tale magic are mixed like a smoothie made by a unicorn on a sugar high.
